I am a liberated woman

I am a liberated woman.

I am liberated from the social expectations that force modern women to seek "success" through a career.

I am liberated from a false idea of freedom that suggests anything I choose to do is of value: except choosing to be a homemaker.

I am liberated from the notion that I must have a degree, an office, and a salary in order to have "made something of myself".

I am liberated from the sickness that causes women to emasculate their husbands in the name of equality.

I am liberated from the lie that my worth is based on my performance.

I am liberated from the personal guilt that makes women think they need to be superwomen -- always strong and able and in control.

In fact, I am so liberated that I am comfortable being "just a housewife."

I am so liberated that i can choose to raise my own children instead of paying somebody else to.

I am so liberated that I can embrace my femininity instead of concealing it.

I am so liberated that I am not offended by the notion that women are "the weaker sex." I can accept my God given nature.

I am so liberated that I can allow a man to open a door for me.

I am so liberated that i can choose not to instill in my daughter the same lies about beauty and worth that were instilled in my generation.

I am so liberated that I am free to serve my God by submitting to my husband.

I am so liberated that i can dress in a modest manner even though the girls in Cosmo magazine don't.

I am so liberated that i can trust my reproduction system to an Almighty God instead of pharmaceuticals and flimsy pieces of rubber.

I am so liberated that I can be a voice for the unborn that are murdered each day in the name of "women's rights"

I am so liberated that I can say no to an education system that wants to indoctrinate my children with it's postmodern lies...I can home school instead.

I am so liberated that I can choose my own role models, not the ones supplied to me by the television and media.

I am so liberated that I can put my role as a wife and mother above my own projects and ambitions.

I am so liberated that I can believe what the Bible says, despite your mocking.

I am so liberated that I am free to view womanhood according to God's design, not cultural demands.

I am a liberated woman.

Yours is a refreshing perspective. While I don't agree with everything you say, that's kind of the beauty of freedom, isn't it?

If you're home-schooling, you might want to brush up on how to use apostrophes.

your right, I did misuse the apostrophe in several places. Thanks for the feedback!
